Starting December 29th 2021 only Moderna is available to those 18 and older due to a Canada-wide shortage of Pfizer.

Gates Health offers vaccinations for first and second doses. Third booster shoots as well as Pfizer (Pædiatric Dose) for ages 5-11 are also available.

Fourth doses available if you are a resident of a:
- long-term care home
- retirement homes
- elder care lodge
- other congregate setting that provide assisted-living and health services

First shot doses are available for individuals 12 years old (and older) as well as Children ages 5-11 with a valid Health Card.

Second doses available after a period of 3 weeks from your first dose from Pfizer or 4 weeks from your first dose of Moderna.

Third doses available after a period of 84 days from your second dose.

Fourth doses are available 84 days after your third dose.

The third dose booster requires a wait time of 84 days from your second dose.

When you schedule an appointment with Gates Health Centre, you will receive a confirmation email for your appointment at the email address you provided. At the bottom of that email you will find links to either change/reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Yes. There are multiple spots available for each appointment time. Keep in mind each person will need to be booked individually.

Anyone in the community can book a vaccine appointment with Gates Health Centre.

Yes. You will need the person’s verbal consent. No proof is needed. Make sure to get the necessary personal contact information including:

• Postal code

• Date of birth

• Health Card information

• Email address (this can be yours, or it can belong to the person you are helping)

A valid Health Card and Photo I.D. with your name and birthdate are required to schedule an appointment.
